Grand Opening: Country Haven Boutique

Country Haven Boutique, a Western-style boutique located at 109 W. Spring St., is opening this weekend, and the excitement is growing for a new local retail experience. “Country Haven” is inspired by the owner’s cherished childhood memories. “My father was a crop duster, and he would take me on flights when I was young. When we were up in the air, I could see the countryside for miles and to me that was my country haven, a place where I felt safe and could be free,” says Zuje Elizardo. Now, that spirit of freedom and comfort lives on through a boutique designed to bring beauty and joy to the community.

Along with her partner G.M., Zuje has created a unique shopping destination offering women’s Western wear, accessories, and charming home décor — all handpicked to capture the heart of country living. Originally from Brownsville, Texas, and now proudly calling Brackettville home, Zuje brings her love of small-town community and family values to every corner of Country Haven Boutique. She hopes to make every visitor feel welcomed, inspired, and at home.

Zuje welcomes the public to join a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 3 at 1pm, “We'll have music — so bring your dancing boots and help us kick off this exciting new adventure!”
