“Light Up the Fort” Fireworks Fundraiser
Fort Clark Springs is inviting residents, families, and community supporters to help make this year’s Fourth of July celebration shine through the “Light Up the Fort” Battle of the Booms Fireworks Fundraiser.
The goal of the campaign is to raise $6,000 to support the annual Fourth of July fireworks show at Fort Clark Springs. This year, the fundraiser includes a fun community challenge: Unit vs. Unit. When making a donation, supporters can choose which unit they would like their contribution credited to. The unit that raises the most money will be crowned the Battle of the Booms Champion and will receive recognition on Facebook, along with bragging rights for the year. Donation levels are designed for participation, with a yard sign award for donations of $100 or more to show off donor support! Levels start at $50 for a Big Boom Sponsor, $100 a Grand Finale Sponsor, and $250 or more a Star-Spangled Champion. Yard signs will read “This Home Helped Light Up the Fort!” The signs give residents a way to proudly show their support for the fireworks fundraiser while helping build excitement across the Fort. Kinney County Post is proud to sponsor the yard signs and advertising, and hope others will join in the impressive sky show by the Kinney County Fire Department.
Donations may be made at the office or through Buildium. Supporters should let staff know which unit they would like to support when making their contribution. The Fourth of July fireworks show is a stunning community tradition, bringing neighbors, families, and visitors together to celebrate Independence Day. Every donation, large or small, helps bring Fort Clark Springs closer to the $6,000 goal and helps ensure a bright and memorable celebration for all. Vendors are also encouraged to sign up with Sherry Garcia, by emailing slynn@fortclark.com. For more information or to make a donation, please visit the Fort Clark Springs office.
