Obituary: Audrey Carroll Ward

Audrey Carroll Ward, age 70, entered into rest on Monday, February 16, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 16, 1955 in Brackettville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Pete and Annie Shields; her daughter Tiiara N. Ward; her sisters Anita Shields and Jimmie Lee Shields; and her brother Johnny Shields. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mr. Clarence G. Ward and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church, 301 N. Ann St, Brackettville, Texas. At the conclusion of the service, there will be a 'Parting View,' followed by a luncheon.
