Announce Your Candidacy in The Kinney County Post

The Kinney County Post invites all political candidates to announce their candidacy as a news story between January 1 and April 2, 2026. Candidates wishing to participate may email an announcement and photo or schedule an interview with KCP staff by emailing editor@kinneycountypost.com. Placement of candidate announcements within the newspaper will be determined by The Kinney County Post and cannot be guaranteed for a specific issue or location. Please note, additional announcements, commentary, or campaign messaging will not be treated as news and must be published as paid political advertising elsewhere in the newspaper. Paid ads may run on requested publication dates if paid in advance. The Kinney County Post is proud to provide this public service and encourages all candidates to share their information with voters in a clear and accessible manner. Early voting for the May 2, 2026 General Election begins on April 22, 2026.
