Principles B4 Practices

Kinney AgriLife Extension partnered up with Texas Grazing Land Coalition and West Nueces-Las Moras Soil and Water Conservation District to put on the Edwards Region GLC Principles B4 Practices Workshop. Our workshop consisted of Soil Health Principles by Billy Griffin (Edwards GLC) Grazing Management by Kason Haby (TXGLC) with both Kason and Billy providing a rainfall simulator, Virtual Fence presentation by Marc Duderstadt, Drone Technology presentation by Sky Senderos Tyler Coover. Finishing up our workshop with Wildlife Habitat Management with Garry Stephens (WHF). It was a great opportunity to provide helpful conservation practices and resources for our local ranchers and landowners. We appreciate the partnership and hope to continue to bring better land management practices to our community as well as surrounding communities.
