Koheè Brackettville Community Garden Expects Over 100 Students to Visit

by Anita Anaya

On June 5, from 9-11am, 110 students are expected to visit the Koheè Brackettville Community Garden in groups of 30 at a time. Students will each plant a pot with deer resistant flowers. Students will be offered hibiscus flower tea, mesquite cookies with walnuts, tangelos and raisins. Groups will stop by later in the week to check on their plant, and will be given ladybugs to release. This exciting experience will take place after time of printing for this week, but Kinney County Post will follow up online and in next week’s paper.
