Kinney County Chamber of Commerce May Meeting Canceled:

• The May meeting of the Kinney County Chamber of Commerce was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at 6pm at Las Moras Creek Cafe. The meeting was canceled due to low attendance. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to get involved. Please contact Michaela Lowrance at chamber@kinneycounty.org for more information. 

Fort Clark Springs Golf Course Pro Shop Changes its Hours: 

• In an effort to improve revenue and maintain quality service, the Fort Clark Springs Golf Course will implement new Pro Shop hours effective May 16, 2025. The revised schedule is as follows:
• Monday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday & Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  All members are asked to sign in at the front entrance before playing to help us track course usage. Green fees and cart rental rates will be posted daily, with payment envelopes and a drop box available for non-members. FCSA Volunteer Pickle Ball Project Asking for Donations:

• Donations to the Pickleball project can now be made online! The FCS Community Council link is below to pay online, or donors can send through

• Checks should be made payable to Fort Clark Springs Community Council and can be dropped off at FCSA Admin Office.

FCSA April 2025 Profit & Loss:

• During the May meeting of the FCSA Board of Directors, a Profit & Loss statement was provided to the audience. The total net income for April 2025 was reported as $391.42 for the month.

• The budgeted total net operating income for April 2025 reported in the FY24-25 Budget is $62,354.16.

• The total net income reported for the year-to-date period of October 2024-April 2025 is a net income loss reported as –$135,441.08.
