NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARJNG ON THE PROPOSED DESIGNATION OF COUNTY REINVESTMENT ZONE NO. 3 BY THE COMMJSSIONERS COURT OF KINNEY COUNTY, TEXAS

On the 12th day of June, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Kinney County Courthouse, 501 South Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas, the Commissioners Court of Kinney County, Texas will hold a public hearing on the matter of the proposed designation of certain property in unincoll)Orated Kinney County as Reinvestment Zone No. 3 under Subchapter C, Chapter 312 of the Texas Property Tax Code. This designation would allow for tax abatement agreements to be entered into by the County with owners of property within the Reinvestment Zone and/or property to be installed on the Property. The Property where additions and improvements are to be considered for Reinvestment Zone designation is generally described as:

Approximately 992.91 acres of land in Kinney County, Texas having been or proposed to be leased, which land is in adjoining parcels capable of combination for use in a Project qualifying for tax abatement. Such parcels making up the proposal Reinvestment Zone are shown below. The boundary of the proposed Reinvestment Zone is delineated by the outside boundary lines of the outermost parcels fonning the approximately 992.91 acre leasehold unit intended for production of solar energy.At the hearing, interested persons are entitled to speak and present evidence for or against the designation. Upon the close of the public hearing, the Commissioners Court intends to take action on whether or not to designate the Reinvestment Zone. Its designation would be County Reinvestment Zone No. 3.
