Public Notice: Official Salaries Increase 2023-2024

Pursuant to 111.0075 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Commissioners’ Court of Kinney County, Texas gives notice that a Public Hearing on the proposed 2022-2023 Budget will be held. The Proposed Budget was filed at the County Clerk’s Office for public inspection on August 15, 2023. The Budget Hearing will be on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 9 a.m. at the County Courthouse, Brackettville, TX. The public may attend and participate in the hearing as it will consider adopting the Proposed Budget and review and consider the 2023-2024 proposed voter approved tax rate of 0.4836/$100 for the County General Fund and proposed voter approved tax rate of 0.01720/$100 value of Kinney County Road and Bridge Department for a combined total proposed tax rate of 0.5008/$100 total.
Pursuant to 152.013 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Commissioners’ Court of Kinney County, Texas publishes any salaries, expenses, or allowances of each elected and appointed county and district officials that are proposed to be increased, and the amount of the proposed increases.
