Obituary: Joanna Jane Factor March 21, 1967 — September 18, 2026

Joanna Jane Factor, age 59, of Lima, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at 2:46 pm, in the emergency room of Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born March 21, 1967, in Lima, to Charles and Frances (Yost) Wince who survive in Ada. On May 10, 2000, she married Randall Factor who also survives.

Also surviving are a son, Quintin Randall Factor of Lima, and daughter Olivia Torrey of Celina; and sisters, Cindy Keel of Oil Springs, KY and Patty Griffin of Ada. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Joe Louis Factor, from Brackettville, TX, who now resides in Lima. Her mother-in-law, Guadalupe Hernandez Factor from Del Rio, TX, preceded in death.

She was a 1985 graduate of Ada High School and earned her Bachelor's degree from Bluffton College. She retired from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. She was a past member of the National Association of Social Workers. She was a member of Ada First Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending craft shows, collecting Longaberger baskets and loved her cats. She was the most selfless person, doing everything she could to help.

Joanna will be cremated, with a private service to be held at a later date.
