by submitted by Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service

Lynnette Rae (Fredrick) Ebert of Menomonie, Wisconsin, and Fort Clark Springs, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at Glenhaven Nursing Home in Glenwood City, Wisconsin, at the age of 85. Lynn was the devoted wife of Richard "Dick" Ebert for 66 years and the loving mother of six children. Above all else, she was a child of God throughout her 85 years.
Lynnette was born on July 23, 1940, in Watertown, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Gertrude (Gertie) Fredrick, the first of three girls: Lynnette, Janice, and Kristine. She met her husband, Dick, while attending Madison Business College, where she earned a secretarial degree in 1959. They were married on August 1, 1959, and together built a life centered on faith, family, and hospitality while raising six children.
For many years, Lynn and Dick made their home on Lake Tainter in Menomonie, where family, friends, and neighbors were always welcome. In recent years, they split their time between Menomonie and Brackettville, Texas, enjoying the friendships and community they found in both places.
Lynn is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Richard (Dick) D. Ebert; her sister, Kristine (Bill) Neumann; her children, Rick (Janet) Ebert of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Kari (Andy) Axelsen of Janesville, Wisconsin; Jeff (Janet) Ebert of La Crosse, Wisconsin; Robin (Joel) Freese of Spring, Texas; Scott (Deanna) Ebert of Menomonie, Wisconsin; and Andy Ebert of Menomonie, Wisconsin; along with thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gertrude (Gertie) Fredrick; her sister, Janice (Dennis) Korth; and her beloved grandson, Daniel Ebert.
A memorial service for Lynn will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin, on Monday, August 3, at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service.
